The Road to Damascus

Theme: Transformation

Biblical Basis • Acts 9:1-19

Saul (later called Paul) was trying to put an end to the Christian faith by arresting belivers wherever he found them. But on his way to the city of Damascus, Jesus himself appeared to Saul in bright light. Saul lost his sight and was humbled, but Jesus had chosen him for an important task.

Lesson Prayer

Delivering Lord, you met Saul on the road to Damascus and changed his life forever. We thank you that your love for us in Christ has also transformed our lives, from people who were lost and alone, to your children whom you love and care for deeply. Help us to share your holy Word with others so that they would come to know your transforming power in their lives as well. We pray this in Jesus’ holy name. Amen.
